This unique piezoelectric high frequency driver is considered one of the finest and most innovative speaker elements available anywhere. It eliminates the need for a power robbing crossover while it offers approximately 1800 dispersion up to 22kHz as mounted in the Classico series enclosures. This is key to Classico performance from the CL-2 up because a over 50% of the sound you hear from speakers in the average room is reflected. Therefore, the off-axis response of a speaker becomes critical to it's in room performance.
The CL-2 combines the CDT-3 tweeter with AGA's advanced BLAST modified transmission line bass loading, patented S2 damping system and OPT Level 2 to bring you State-of-the Art acoustic performance from compact, traditionally styled enclosures.
