"This palm-size, stainless steel loudspeaker has a titanium driver and more mounting options than Jenna Jameson. It fits whatever project you're working on: home theater, office, illicit after-hours Polish disco... whatever."

"These funky speakers may look cute and unassuming, but they'll ping effects around the room so fast and hard they'll make your head spin."

"All in all, pace, timing and rhythm have all improved and the total musicality of the Micro's Ti's is top notch. Compact speaker manufacturers beware. Gallo has raised the bar by a considerable degree."

"I'm not going to end this review -- as others might -- by urging you to run out and buy this stuff before Gallo comes to their collective senses and raises pricing on these wonderful products. It would be ludicrous to even suggest that Anthony Gallo doesn't firmly know the value of his offerings. It's equally inane to suggest to any manufacturer that just because he can charge more, he should ignore his price/performance advantage and raise the rent. I prefer to conclude by commending Gallo on offering the kind of value and price/performance ratio that audiophiles should demand. It's not that Gallo's products are too cheap. It's that the competition is overpriced. As a -- very -- final note on that subject, this Gallo system is too good to send back. I'm keeping it. All of it. The whole works. Best money I've ever spent, too. That's the honest truth, your honor..."

"Space-limited, money-conscious and aesthetically-minded individuals will want to audition these Anthony Gallo Micros. They will provide, within their limits, a well-balanced solution that must be heard to be appreciated. They certainly changed my bias. I believe they will have the same effect on you as well. These speakers are the best I have heard in the micro class. If a small, affordable, low-visibility speaker is your desire, this high-resolution gem is a perfect choice."

"That's what I really like about this system: its ability
to present a coherent stereo picture without filling the
room with huge speakers is deeply impressive, and should
win this system very many followers. Yes I freely
admit I came to reviewing these speakers with some prejudice: that the Gallo Nucleus Micro and MPS150
won me over is a tribute to its achievement."

"If you have need of a system that is at once discrete and musically engaging, majoring on communication, clarity and transparency, then look no further. Indeed, if it's the latter qualities that you prize then the Gallo Micros could easily be your speaker of choice, regardless of type. Don't confuse these with the six in a box toys that everybody and their wife seems to be offering these days. This is a genuine hi-fi speaker."

SENT TO THE GALLOS
The colourful satellites here are among the cutest to orbit Planet Stuff in the past few months, and at four inches round they're deliciously tiny too. For some reason each little orb seems to weigh as much as a pony, so God only knows what's inside them - lead ingots? Plutonium? Dark matter? Still, the sound's excellent, with a Colosseum-sized soundstage and superb imaging, and the subwoofer disguised as a footrest is nice touch.

There are numerous loudspeakers on the market that are capable of producing the sound, the problem is that most of them are too large, ugly or power-hungry to work in your stylish pad. Which is where the Nucleus Micro comes in. Measuring a compact four inches in diameter, the all-metal sphere is available in a choice of eight colours (£300-£500 for two, depending on the colour) so there's one to match even the most outlandish decor. What is amazing is that these gorgeously slimline creatures are capable of producing the most amazing sound.

ORBITAL SYSTEM
The Nucleus Micros system won't strain your back lifting it or your wallet buying it. If the alien monolith-resembling speakers released by some acoustic houses are a little out of your price range, but you still want space-age sound, the Nucleus Micros system from Anthony Gallo Acoustics combines super-realistic audio, great looks and a prudent price. 15 years in the making, they're constructed from aluminum and are pitched just as hard at the home cinema market as the hi-fi. Available in eight deep mostly dignified colours they start at £300 for a pack of two, with appropriately sci-fi bass units to compliment from £300-£500.
