Most of us would love to install our Micro or A'Diva series home theater loudspeakers directly into the ceiling and/or wall with the optional ceiling ring, but the prospect of drilling the necessary five- and six-inch holes can be daunting. With Anthony Gallo Acoustics' new Pre-Construction Kit, used in conjunction with the ceiling ring the speakers can be integrated into the structure and wired beforehand, saving a great deal of time and effort.
The kit requires an unobstructed section of a wall or ceiling stud bay. With the center hole of the main plate at a minimum of 1" away from a stud, the dog-ears of the finish bracket has room to function. For installation, simply slide the pre-measured side wings into the center section until they snap into place. These straps should be installed with the measured break lines facing down.
It all adds up to an unobtrusive installation and a fully custom appearance to your home theater.
